Letter from the Editor: July

Welcome to the grand opening of Fuse Magazine! Finally we are up and running. First off, I’d like to sincerely thank Angela for hosting this website. I’d also like to thank all of those who e-mailed me expressing your interest in contributing to the magazine. And of course, I’d like to thank the contributors. Without your submissions, this magazine wouldn’t exist.

I’d also like to give a special thanks to Becky and Brent who helped me out in more ways than one—beta testing, giving me ideas, submitting articles, listening to magazine talk for a month straight, and most of all, encouraging me throughout this whole process. I dedicate this first issue to you both.

This first issue is not very content-heavy for two reasons, the first being that this is my first time compiling an online magazine, and I didn’t want to overwhelm myself. I’m very glad I went light on the content because it took me quite a while to work on the rest of the content, and also because I learned (through a lot of trial and error) a lot of useful tips that will make it a lot smoother to put together future issues. Second, this first issue is a trial issue of sorts—the feedback and reaction received by visitors and readers alike will determine whether I will continue managing this magazine. This magazine is for you, after all.

If you have any comments or thoughts on these articles, don’t hesitate to send an e-mail and any question or comment you ask might be answered in next month’s newsletter. Depending on the number e-mails received, Fuse could even have a Letters from the Readers section where readers can voice their opinions and ideas.

I hope you enjoy this issue. It’s been a lot of hard work and effort but I’m sincerely hoping this magazine is a success. If you have any suggestions for a topic, share them! Fuse thrives on contributions from readers like you, so submit an application to contribute for future issues or find out more information about submission requirements.

I hope you enjoy the first issue! And remember to spread the word so that others can participate. The more the merrier.

Regards,
Your very dedicated Editor
